When you register for ProxiGuide, your data is immediately encrypted using industry-standard encryption protocols (AES-256). The encryption key is unique to you and is derived from your credentials during the registration process.

We Don't Use Your Data

ProxiGuide does not use your data for any purpose other than providing you with our proximity services. We don't:

• ✓ Use your data to train AI models or algorithms
• ✓ Profile you for marketing or advertising purposes
• ✓ Track your activity beyond what's necessary for service delivery
• ✓ Share any insights derived from your data with third parties

We Don't Sell Your Data

Let's be crystal clear: ProxiGuide does not sell your data. Period.

We don't sell it to advertisers, data brokers, research firms, or anyone else. We don't monetize your information in any way. Our business model is simple: you pay for our service, and we provide it. Your data is not our product.

Complete Data Ownership

You own 100% of your data. This includes:

• → Configuration settings and beacon data
• → Analytics and usage statistics
• → User profiles and visitor information

You can export all of your data at any time in standard formats. You can also permanently delete your account and all associated data with a single click—no waiting periods, no questions asked.

Only You Can Access Your Data

Because your data is encrypted with your unique key, only you can decrypt and access it. This means:

• ✓ ProxiGuide employees cannot view your data
• ✓ System administrators cannot view your data
• ✓ Third-party services cannot view your data
• ✓ Even if our servers were compromised, your data would remain encrypted

What We Do Collect (Minimal Technical Data)

For the platform to function, we do collect minimal technical information:

• • Account credentials: Username/email and encrypted password (we never store passwords in plain text)
• • Service logs: Basic technical logs for system maintenance and security (IP addresses, timestamps, error logs)
• • Payment information: Processed securely through our payment provider; we don't store credit card details

This technical data is kept separate from your encrypted content and is only used for service delivery, security, and billing purposes.

Legal Requests and Compliance

In the rare event we receive a valid legal request for user data:

• 1. We will only provide the minimal technical data required by law (account info, service logs)
• 2. We cannot provide your encrypted content because we cannot decrypt it
• 3. We will notify you of any requests unless legally prohibited from doing so
• 4. We will challenge overly broad or inappropriate requests

Changes to This Policy
